Job summary

InforCapital is seeking an accomplished Managing Director to lead a Sector Coverage Team within its European Corporate Credit group. You will source and execute new private credit and hybrid opportunities while overseeing credit analysts, ensuring high-quality analysis and investment recommendations.

The role requires a minimum of 12 years in sell-side or buy-side credit with strong leadership, extensive industry relationships, and excellent communication skills to present to senior leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in sell side or buyside focused on credit, leveraged finance, or high-yield investing.
• Deep understanding of credit underwriting, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
• Proven ability to originate and structure private credit and hybrid transactions.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior talent.
• Established relationships within private credit, advisors, sell-side, buy-side, sponsors, and corporate management teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex credit theses.

Responsibilities

• Origination & deal execution: source and close private credit and hybrid opportunities within the sector.
• Sector leadership: act as sector expert for Europe, providing insights and strategic perspectives.
• Investment evaluation: perform due diligence on financials, leverage, and risk factors.
• Portfolio monitoring: oversee risk and provide buy/sell/hold recommendations.
