Job summary

Scope Group is seeking an Executive Director – Financial Institutions to lead analytical work on a portfolio of banks and NBFIs across several European countries. You will chair rating committees, publish research, and liaise with clients as a primary contact, shaping methodologies and outcomes for Scope’s ratings business.

You will interact with bank executives, regulators, and investors, driving development of analytical capabilities while mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of relevant experience with internationally recognized financial institution.
• Master's degree in finance, banking, economics, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent qualification.
• Strong grasp of European bank regulations and bank liabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead rating committee discussions and communicate recommendations.
• Monitor and review existing ratings and trigger timely reviews.
• Interact with bank executives, regulators, investors, and journalists.
• Chair rating committees and develop new methodologies for assets.
