Qualifikationen

• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or related field or equivalent experience
• Required: CFA Charter Holder
• Required: 10+ years investment-related experience with a minimum of 3 years in institutional private placement
• Preferred: Master's Degree (MBA or MS)
• Preferred: 8+ years' experience within insurance/reinsurance industry

Aufgaben

• Monitor markets and cultivate deal origination to expand private placement deal flow
• Analyze private securities against investment policies and negotiate terms with legal counsel
• Collaborate with portfolio management, credit analysts and operations for analysis, allocation and reporting
• Provide leadership and mentorship within the credit and investment teams
• Conduct sophisticated fundamental relative value analysis at issuer and industry levels
• Produce high quality written reports detailing strengths and risks of credit decisions
• Source and synthesize data (earnings, presentations, industry data, macro climate) to support decisions
