Job summary

ZIM Aircraft Seating seeks a dynamic Sales Director EMEA to lead regional sales, nurture customer relationships, and drive profitable growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The role combines strategic development with hands-on leadership in a global, fast-moving environment.

You will manage complex sales cycles, collaborate with engineering and program teams, and travel regularly to meet customers and participate in industry events from our Germany base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in sales or key account management roles, ideally within the aviation, aerospace, or aircraft interiors industry.
• Proven track record of sales success in the EMEA market, including an established customer and industry network.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Fluency in business-level English, both written and spoken; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the sales strategy for the EMEA region in line with global objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with airline customers, leasing companies, and OEMs across EMEA.
• Identify market opportunities and inform product portfolio discussions.
• Oversee multiple bid processes, pricing, negotiations, and contract management per global guidelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, and other functions to ensure customer satisfaction and flawless execution.
• Represent ZIM Aircraft Seating at regional trade shows, events, and key customer meetings across EMEA.
• Report to the Vice President Global Sales and contribute to EMEA strategic decision-making.
