Job summary

Snowflake is hiring an EMEA Solution Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing pre-sales team focused on observability opportunities. You will partner with Sales leadership to align resources with top opportunities and guide customers in leveraging Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud for observability data.

You will coach demonstrations, support proofs of concept, and help customers migrate logs, metrics, and traces onto Snowflake’s platform. Strong English and travel flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solution engineering, sales engineering or technical pre-sales.
• 2+ years leading or mentoring technical teams in a pre-sales or customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of observability concepts: logs, metrics, traces, monitoring landscape.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and SQL.
• Experience selling or implementing technical solutions to enterprise customers in EMEA.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, and develop a team of Solution Engineers supporting EMEA observability opportunities.
• Partner with Regional Sales Directors to build and execute territory strategy.
• Coach your team to deliver demonstrations and proofs of concept showcasing Snowflake’s capabilities.
• Guide customers in migrating observability workloads to the Snowflake AI Data Cloud using Snowpark, Streamlit, Cortex.
• Serve as escalation point for complex discovery, architecture design, and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to feed field feedback into the observability roadmap.
• Represent Snowflake at events and executive briefings as a trusted technical leader.
