Job summary
RTX seeks an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC/EMI) Engineering Co-op for Spring/Summer 2027 to support EMI/EMC activities for advanced products and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist in testing, documentation, and project coordination.

Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, EMC, or related STEM field through internship/co-op term.
- Experience with EMC design and aerospace standards (MIL-STD-461/464/704, DO-160 or equivalent).
- Experience with EMC simulation/modeling tools.
- Experience with automation/scripting of processes including document generation.
- Experience gained via coursework, projects, or on-the-job.
Responsibilities
- Support development and qualification activities for assigned EMI/EMC programs.
- Assist with creation of technical plans, procedures, and reports under supervision.
- Collaborate with senior EMI/EMC engineers to grow expertise.
- Coordinate EMI/EMC development, qualification, and certification testing with cross-functional teams.
- Identify process improvements to accelerate schedules and reduce costs.
- Demonstrate dependability, problem solving, and teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with team, management, and customers.
- Occasional local travel for test setup; possible schedule shifts as needed.
- Mentor and share knowledge to help grow teammates.
