Job summary

IVIRMA Global is seeking a full-time Embryology Lab Assistant in our Basking Ridge, NJ ASC. You will support the embryology lab with administrative verifications, data entry, and daily QC. The role involves assisting with patient paperwork, inventory, and lab procedures under supervision.

The position requires an Associate degree in science, proficiency in MS Office, EMR experience, and OSHA policy familiarity. Weekend and holiday shifts are required; physical lifting is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in one of the sciences is preferred.
• Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) is required.
• Electronic Healthcare Records (EMR) experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and lab regulatory policies is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with urgency when needed.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with good judgment.
• Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for reporting and maintaining patient records and morning QC.
• Document quality control activities and calibrations.
• Participate in lab operations and meetings as needed.
• Verify accuracy of clinical charts before release for insurance/physician reviews.
• Assist embryology staff with procedures and research projects.
• Shadow Embryologist to confirm patient identity.
• Assist with decontamination of culture incubators.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly.
