Job summary

IVIRMA North America is seeking an Entry-Level Embryologist to join our Basking Ridge, New Jersey practice. This full-time role supports IVF lab operations, patient records, and quality assurance, with weekend rotation and opportunities to learn under a structured program.

Ideal candidates hold a science degree, have basic lab exposure, and demonstrate strong attention to detail, communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science preferred.
• 1 year work experience in a similar position preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Willingness to work weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for reporting and maintaining patient records.
• Document quality control data.
• Understand lab operating manuals and QA/QC program requirements.
• Learn guidelines for performing laboratory services.
• Understand OSHA requirements for safe lab operation.
• Participate in laboratory operations, procedures and projects as directed.
• Follow strict chain of custody policies.
• Culture dish preparation and related lab duties.
• Order/receive lab supplies and maintain inventories.
• Adhere to quality control policies and document all QC activities.
• Perform entry-level embryology procedures.
• Communicate with clinical staff as appropriate.
• Attend laboratory meetings as requested.
• Preparation and storage of patient documents.
• Review clinical charts for accuracy.
