Job summary

IVIRMA North America in Marlton, NJ seeks a Senior Embryologist to lead IVF laboratory procedures and uphold quality assurance standards. The role emphasizes independent work to perform all embryology tasks in line with our Laboratory Philosophy and Performance Standards.

The position requires a Bachelor's of Science with 4+ years of embryology experience, strong judgment, and excellent listening and counseling skills. Weekend/holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science required.
• 4+ years embryology experience.
• Aptitude to work independently and make clinical judgments.
• Good listening and counseling skills.
• Ability to input/retrieve information from a computer.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies for IVF procedures, specimen handling, and tissue storage.
• Maintain QA/QC, and operating guidelines for lab services.
• Adhere to documentation and quality control policies.
• Follow OSHA requirements for safe lab operation.
• Perform lab services independently when proficient.
• Participate in clinical and research lab operations as directed.
• Identify issues affecting patients and propose solutions.
• Participate in lab proficiency testing and meetings.
• Attend continuing education programs.
