Job summary

IVIRMA North America is seeking a Mid-Level Embryologist to join our Baskin Ridge, NJ team. You will execute IVF laboratory procedures, uphold quality systems, and advance embryology practices to support patient success.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Science and 3+ years of embryology experience, with the ability to work independently and coordinate lab activities in a collaborative setting. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science degree required.
• 3+ years embryology experience.
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
• Strong listening and counseling skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow established policies for IVF procedures, specimen handling, and tissue storage.
• Maintain quality assurance, quality control, and operating guidelines for lab services.
• Adhere to quality control policies and documentation requirements.
• Follow OSHA requirements for safe lab operation.
• Obtain proficiency to perform all lab services independently and reliably.
• Participate in clinical and research lab operations as directed.
• Identify problems that may adversely affect patients and facilitate a solution.
• Participate in lab proficiency testing.
• Attend laboratory meetings as requested.
• Attend continuing education programs as requested

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Embryologist to join our growing Baskin Ridge, NJ team. If you are passionate about laboratory excellence and want your expertise to directly impact patient success, this is the opportunity to take the next step in your career.

This position will be responsible for executing IVF laboratory procedures according to established policies as well as adhering to RMA’s quality assurance/control operating procedures. The ideal candidate will build on previous embryology experience and train to perform all aspects of clinical embryology independently and in accordance with RMA’s Laboratory Philosophy, Mission, and Performance Standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science
• 3+ years embryology experience
• Demonstrate an aptitude for performance of laboratory services
• Aptitude to make appropriate judgments regarding clinical significance of laboratory data
• Excellent work ethic and motivation to learn lab procedures
• High level of listening and counseling skills
• Aptitude to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e., computer, fax, copier, etc.)
• Must be able to work weekends and some holidays
