Job summary

TaxGPT Inc. seeks a Forward Deployed Accountant / Tax Technologist to embed with CPA firms and tax teams across the US. You will map how work moves through the firm, configure TaxGPT workflows, train teams to adopt, and surface patterns to guide the product roadmap.

This is a high-ambiguity, customer-facing role requiring tax judgment and change management. You will travel ~30–40% to client sites and industry events, joining the San Francisco HQ for periodic gatherings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in public accounting, tax prep, review, planning or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Embed with TaxGPT customers to map tax and accounting workflows, define success metrics.
• Design, pilot and operationalize AI-powered tax workflows within firm processes.
• Lead implementation and change management, building durable playbooks and champions.
• Diagnose workflow breaks with clients and craft practical AI-assisted workarounds.
• Collaborate with Sales, Success and Product to prove ROI and drive adoption.
• Surface patterns to feed product roadmap with concrete examples.
• Create forward-deployed playbooks, templates, and onboarding kits for efficiencies.
• Travel to customer sites and participate in industry events as needed.
