Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSS), Rolling Meadows, IL, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join its Software and Controls Department. You will contribute to full-cycle development of new software subsystems and defense electronics, and customize current systems to support customer needs at NGSS in Rolling Meadows.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will work with a team of experienced engineers on requirements analysis, design, coding, test and verification activities using

Qualifications

Active TS clearance with SCI.
BS in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field; 2 years experience or MS degree.
Experience coding in C/C++.
Experience with scripting languages (Python/JavaScript/Perl/Unix shells).
Familiarity with lab testing equipment and DSP concepts.

Responsibilities

Contribute to full-cycle development of new software subsystems and defense electronics.
Customize current systems to support customer needs.
Perform requirements analysis, design, coding, test and verification activities.
