Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a New Product Development Engineering Intern for a 12-week program at the Waukesha, WI site. You will work with experienced engineers to perform analyses, create designs, build prototypes, and develop verification tests as part of the LIPE Innovation team.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with graduation no earlier than December 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or above.
• Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global design and manufacturing teams.
• Develop and update 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and product specifications.
• Learn and perform engineering analysis and digital simulation leveraging advanced tools.
• Support the manufacture and production of prototype and pilot builds.
• Coordinate tests with internal and external labs; assist with test fixtures.
