Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, software or electrical/computer engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in software/embedded/controls; 3+ years in leadership or management.
• Experience leading FPGA/DSP/PLD software and delivering complex embedded/real-time systems.
• Experience with HIL, software verification, test automation, and structured validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary software team focused on FPGA, DSP, PLD development and HIL/test verification.
• Manage software platform engineering for power conversion, energy storage, and motor control systems.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, design, implementation, integration and validation.
• Develop HIL/test verification strategy with traceability from requirements to qualification.
• Drive reusable software platforms across products and coordinate with systems, electrical, mechanical, and program teams.
• Enforce best practices for software development, configuration management, cybersecurity, and documentation in defense contexts.
• Translate requirements into executable software plans, manage risks, and ensure compliant, high-quality solutions.
• Mentor team members, build capability, and foster accountability and innovation.
