Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for Starlink Enterprise Products (Space Lasers) in Redmond, WA. You will own software across embedded, backend, and UI layers to support Space Lasers, Community Gateway, and Starlink Aviation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/engineering/math/science.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with embedded systems and networking is preferred.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant devices for millions of users.
• Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Identify areas to improve experience, reliability, and efficiency of the product.
• Develop prototypes and manage experiments to validate key concepts.
• Write Linux-based software for processors and microcontrollers.
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and test cases.
