Blue Origin LLC in Huntsville, Alabama, seeks an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join the Avionics Design team. You will develop embedded software in C/C++ for high voltage power systems and collaborate with FPGA designers to ensure robust hardware/software integration.

You will drive the software lifecycle from requirements through deployment, develop low-level drivers, support hardware bring-up, and contribute to software architecture and verification plans in a safety-critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or CS.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with RTOS and hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software in C/C++ for high voltage power systems.
• Collaborate with FPGA designers for hardware/software integration.
• Drive the software lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Develop low-level drivers and firmware for embedded platforms.
• Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and verification activities.
• Contribute to software architecture, design reviews, and documentation.
• Develop and execute software verification plans including unit/integration tests.
