Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Northridge, CA is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer (Level 3/4) to design, develop, integrate and test software for the Stand-in Attack Weapon program on site. The role requires strong RTOS experience and a DoD Secret clearance.

You will work with hardware teams to debug interfaces (UART, RS-232/422, CAN, ARINC 429), implement software from requirements, perform unit and system testing, and contribute to verification activities in a fast-paced, lab environments.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering with 5+ years software eng. exp. in embedded systems (MS +3 yrs acceptable).
Experience with RTOS such as vxWorks.
Ability to read code and verify implementations per software requirements.
Experience integrating embedded software with hardware and troubleshooting interfaces.
Current US Government DoW Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Implement software based on requirements and defect reports.
Collaborate with systems and software engineers to develop architecture models.
Develop, integrate and test software on lab assets.
Support verification and validation activities for CSCIs.
Participate in embedded software development: unit/integration tests and field testing.
Develop software in RTOS environments (vxWorks).
