Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to help bring up ECU platforms for infotainment systems in a fast-paced EV environment.

You will design validation features, optimize CPU/GPU/NPU workloads, and collaborate with hardware, validation, and test automation teams to deliver reliable software at the ECU level.

Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Embedded Linux/QNX, and hands-on use of Lauterbach, JTAG, and oscilloscope tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of Embedded Software Development.
• Experience with automotive-grade SoCs is a plus.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux, QNX, DriveOS.

Responsibilities

• ECU Platform Bring-up & Optimization for infotainment systems.
• Validation feature development and testing strategies for ECU software.
• Collaboration with hardware, validation, and test automation teams.
• Troubleshoot and debug across hardware and software at ECU level.
• Documentation of software designs and APIs.
