Job summary
Rivian VW Group Technologies seeks a Staff Embedded Software Engineer to help shape the foundational software stack for ECU and infotainment platforms in the evolving EV landscape. You will lead bring‑up, driver integration, and system‑level debugging at the ECU level, working across hardware and software teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters in CS/Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of embedded software development experience.
- Strong experience with high‑end SoCs (Snapdragon, NVIDIA Orin, MediaTek) and automotive‑grade platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead ECU platform bring‑up and optimization for infotainment systems.
- Develop validation features for ECU testing against specifications.
- Improve diagnostics from validation and testing processes.
- Design and execute comprehensive validation strategies including stress testing and performance benchmarking.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing software for ECU testing.
- Collaborate with hardware, validation, and software teams to ensure seamless integration.
