Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to work on the ECU level for infotainment platforms. You will contribute to bring-up, driver integration, and system-level debugging on next-generation EV hardware.

The role requires strong C/C++, Python, and embedded Linux experience, with hands-on work on high-performance automotive SoCs and diagnostic tooling in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years' experience in Embedded Software Development.
• Strong experience with high-performance SoCs (Snapdragon, NVIDIA Orin, MediaTek) or automotive-grade SoCs.

Responsibilities

• ECU Platform Bring-up & optimization for infotainment systems, including initial boot and driver integration.
• Design, develop, and implement software features for ECU validation.
• Develop and execute validation strategies and stress tests for ECU subsystems.
