Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies seek a Systems Integration Engineer to bridge hardware and software across vehicle platforms, from prototype to launch. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE or CS.
• 1–3 years in automotive or complex subsystems.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Strong debugging of Ethernet/CAN with industry tools.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on software integration and validation on prototype vehicles and lab cars.
• Commissioning and bring-up of interconnected complex systems.
• Triage, debug, and root-cause analysis of integration issues.
• Provide technical analysis to prioritize foundational work vs features.
• Dive into unfamiliar ECU and vehicle subsystems to resolve blockers.
• Analyze and report system-level risks to engineering leadership.
• Collaborate with architecture, platform, and application developers.
