RTX in Point Mugu, CA invites an Embedded Software Engineer I to design, code, test real-time embedded software for radar, sensors, guidance and fire-control systems. You will work across the software lifecycle, including SW/HW integration, in a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree and experience with C/C++, real-time embedded development, and strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills. Onsite role with competitive RTX benefits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM from an accredited institution; degree must be obtained by start date.
• Experience developing and testing or debugging software using C, C++, or similar OO language.
• Strong real-time embedded software development experience and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in a team-based development environment with good communication.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and ability to contribute across phases.

Responsabilidades

• Work on complex technical problems and collaborate to provide innovative solutions.
• Investigate issues and develop resolutions through troubleshooting.
• Participate in all SW development lifecycle phases including SW/HW integration.
• Assist in deriving system and software requirements, modeling, and analysis.
• Design, code, unit test, integrate, and document real-time embedded software, especially EW implementations.
• Participate in peer reviews, code inspections, and technical decisions with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support program execution to meet technical, cost, schedule and quality baselines.
• Adhere to established software development processes to maintain product integrity.
