Job summary

A leading manufacturer of lift trucks is seeking an Electrical Engineer I-IV at its Greenville, NC Warehouse Product Development Center. The ideal candidate will support team oversight and possess a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field, with varying levels of industry experience. Responsibilities include electrical system design, CAD modeling, and providing technical guidance to team members. Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field (new graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience).
  • 1-2 years of engineering experience and/or two relevant internships.
  • 3+ years of industry experience with B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of industry experience with B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Growing proficiency in electrical system design, CAD modeling and engineering analysis.
  • Experience supporting testing, prototype builds, or manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with regulatory concepts (electrical safety, EMC) and working with compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Support team oversight and administrative responsibilities.
  • Coordinate tasks and support planning for projects.
  • Provide informal technical guidance and mentor team members.
  • Assist with testing, prototyping and documentation for product development.

Familiarity with basic regulatory concepts (e.g., electrical safety, EMC). Ability to take ownership of small tasks or workstreams with limited supervision. Advanced proficiency in CAD, design layouts, and electrical system integration.Working knowledge of regulations such as functional safety or EMC. Ability to coordinate tasks, support planning, and provide informal technical guidance.Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements and how to apply them in design. Experience leading engineering tasks, coordinating schedules, and mentoring team members. Ability to influence technical direction and support long-term product strategy.
