Job summary

General Motors is seeking a software engineer to design, develop and implement thermal management control and diagnostic algorithms for GM’s next generation EVs. You will translate functional requirements into robust software in MATLAB/Simulink or hand-coded C, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include creating and modifying unit and multi-component test cases, exploring new thermal systems, and supporting SIL/HIL testing in a hybrid work environment with 3 days

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.
Experience with C-language, Simulink, and embedded software development.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement thermal management control and diagnostic algorithms for GM’s EVs.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to translate requirements into software.
Create/modify unit and multicomponent test cases; support SIL/HIL testing.
