Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for High Voltage Battery Sensor Communication. You will design, develop, and validate embedded software for HV sensor communication, leveraging C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink in a mechatronic environment.

You will lead an Agile team and collaborate across departments to deliver robust software for automotive electronic control units. Responsibilities include test automation, hardware-in-the-loop validation, and effective documentation linking

Qualifications

5+ years of embedded controls software experience.
BS in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer engineering or CS.
Proficient in C/C++ programming.
Experience with model-based development (MATLAB/Simulink) and code generation.
Knowledge of CAN/LIN/ARXML/Ethernet.
Strong collaboration and leadership in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and validate software for embedded controls in electrification domain for High Voltage Battery Sensor Communication and sensing.
Lead agile Scrum team members to deliver software solutions.
Coordinate with Systems, Electrical Architecture, and other departments.
Document requirements and link to test cases; demonstrate software functionality.
Use automated test tools in build environments, benches, and vehicles.
Validate software features using hardware-in-the-loop and vehicle systems.
