USA-MiniMed Distribution Corp. 1018 in Northridge, CA seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test II for embedded software/firmware in a hybrid role (3-4 days in office, 1-2 days remote).

Responsibilities include designing and executing tests for embedded medical devices, automating with JavaScript/Python, and collaborating across teams on BLE testing and CI/CD. BS in CS/EE and 0-2 years of experience required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of software engineering or test automation experience (internships/counts).
• Hands-on experience with embedded systems.
• Programming in JavaScript and/or Python.
• Experience with end-to-end functional testing and test automation.
• Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools (Git, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving across hardware and software.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and execute functional, regression, and end-to-end tests for embedded systems and medical devices and software components.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, test reports, defect documentation, and traceability.
• Work on scripting to automate embedded systems components using Javascript/Python.
• Understand systems software design requirements.
• Understand BLE testing, including pairing, connectivity, synchronization, recovery, failover, and interoperability.
