Job summary

MiniMed seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test for Embedded Software/Firmware to lead verification and validation of pump firmware. Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with embedded firmware verification and validation in medical devices is preferred.
• Proven ability to design and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, or BLE communication protocols is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and libraries for embedded device workflows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and manage test execution and reporting.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of embedded firmware and hardware interfaces.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure traceability and evidence.
