Job summary

Redpanda is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic customers, writing production-quality agents, data pipelines, and integrations inside the client environment. You will be the builder, delivering robust solutions that ship and endure beyond your involvement.

You will operate on-site during live deployments, adapt quickly to new codebases, and drive customer engagements end-to-end while documenting solutions for ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• You write production software with real impact.
• Experience building agents, LLМ integrations, or production deployments.
• You can read unfamiliar codebases and extend them without breaking.

Responsibilities

• Build at the customer site: production-quality agents, integrations, and data pipelines within the customer's environment and codebase.
• Work in unfamiliar territory with new codebases and data environments, quickly adapting to constraints.
• Own the technical deliverable from design to handoff, ensuring docs are clear and maintainable.
• Be the technical voice with the customer's engineers and ensure seamless integration with their stack.
• Drive delivery with clean handoffs and avoid creating dependencies on you.
• Capture learnings across engagements and feed back to Product and Engineering.
