Job summary

CDK Global is a leading cloud-based software provider for dealerships and OEMs. We are seeking a Payments Sales Engineer to bring deep payments expertise to the sales team and merchants, helping to implement embedded payment solutions and enable successful customer outcomes across our SaaS platform.

The role requires strong problem-solving capabilities, the ability to demo complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and collaboration with product and sales teams to drive

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience in payments with a track record of meeting targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Deep understanding of embedded payment processing technologies including card-present and card-not-present.
• Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, gateways, API, and software integration.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Sales Support: develop expertise in payments trends, regulations and technologies; train and support sales teams; identify and close opportunities; stay informed on market dynamics.
• Customer Relationship Management: build strong relationships with technical stakeholders; act as trusted advisor; ensure complete merchant implementation and configuration; engage with clients and partners.
