Checkout.com seeks a Solutions Engineer to join the Revenue organization. The role is client-facing and combines pre-sales with implementation, guiding large merchants from initial technical evaluation to successful launch.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience in the payments industry.
• Strong technical skills evidenced by education or professional work experience.
• Direct role-related experience in Sales Engineering, Implementation Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Solutions Architecture.
• Exceptional client-facing communication skills with a proven track record of managing external stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of API-based integrations, specifically REST/JSON APIs, and proficiency with tools like Postman.
• Natural problem-solver with strong analytical and debugging skills, able to reproduce and explain issues using logs and API responses.
• Ability to distill complex technical concepts for non-technical business audiences.
• Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsabilités

• Immerse yourself in the payments industry and build a comprehensive understanding of the Checkout.com platform, including core solutions, products, and services.
• Team up with Sales Representatives to engage directly with enterprise merchant prospects in a pre-sales context.
• Investigate and understand enterprise prospects’ pain points, business needs, and functional requirements to propose tailored solutions.
• Deliver presentations and product demonstrations using decks, UIs, API walkthroughs, reports, and integration examples.
• Take primary responsibility for the end-to-end technical lifecycle from pre-sales to go-live support.
• Represent the merchant internally, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Financial Partnerships, and Finance teams to solve complex challenges and influence the product roadmap.
• Operate with an AI-forward mindset, using AI tools to boost productivity and output quality.
