Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Python, C, C++, JavaScript) and willingness to learn others.
• Comfort working in Linux environments and on the command line.
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop features and fixes for Chamber application software on embedded Linux, with guidance from senior engineers
• Learn and contribute to the software that communicates with hardware over serial and bus protocols
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews
• Take part in quality assurance to help keep Chamber software reliable
• Help investigate and resolve customer issues, escalating when needed
• Assist with maintenance of early-gen Chamber software
• Contribute to frontend work as needed
• Collaborate with hardware, operations, and customer experience teammates
