We are hiring Embedded Linux Field Engineer for Devices/IoT to expand our reach in industries such as Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, Telco, and Consumer Electronics. We seek candidates who are accomplished Linux professionals, passionate about Linux, proficient with containerization, system debugging, and related skills. This role offers a unique and exciting opportunity.
The server edition of Ubuntu is already prevalent in connected devices and industrial PCs. Our Ubuntu Core edition advances security and resilience for high-end appliances and equipment, serving clients in consumer and industrial electronics, automotive, and robotics. We are expanding our offerings, including real-time Linux capabilities and certifications, to deliver Linux solutions optimized for reliability, security, developer productivity, and footprint.
This role requires a blend of skills: deep Linux knowledge, coding and scripting proficiency, experience with low-level Linux boot, BIOS, firmware, embedded software development, and a passion for technology and client engagement.
