We are hiring Embedded Linux Field Engineers for Devices/IoT to expand our reach in industries like Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco, as well as Consumer Electronics. We seek candidates who are Linux experts, proficient in OS internals, containerization, and debugging, with experience in embedded Linux development and low-level system internals.
Our Ubuntu Server edition is popular in connected devices and industrial PCs. Ubuntu Core, our IoT edition, emphasizes security and resilience for high-end appliances. We are expanding our offerings with real-time Linux capabilities and certifications, aiming for reliability, security, and developer productivity.
This role requires a blend of skills: deep Linux knowledge, coding and scripting proficiency, experience with embedded Linux boot processes, BIOS, firmware, and embedded software methodologies. Candidates should thrive in dynamic environments, be results-oriented, and be team players committed to excellence.
