We are hiring an Embedded Linux Field Engineer for Devices/IoT to expand our presence in industries like Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco, as well as Consumer Electronics. We seek candidates who are Linux experts, proficient in OS internals, containerization, system debugging, and embedded software development. This role involves engaging with cutting-edge Linux solutions, including Ubuntu Core, Ubuntu's IoT edition, emphasizing security and resilience for high-end appliances and equipment. Our portfolio includes real-time Linux capabilities and upcoming certifications, aiming for high reliability, security, and developer productivity in small Linux environments.
This role requires a blend of technical skills: deep Linux knowledge, coding and scripting proficiency, experience with low-level Linux boot processes, BIOS, firmware, and embedded development methodologies.
