We are hiring an Embedded Linux Field Engineer for Devices/IoT to expand into industries like Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, Telco, and Consumer Electronics. Candidates should be Linux experts, proficient in OS internals, containerization, and system debugging, with experience in low-level Linux boot, BIOS, firmware, and embedded software development. The server edition of Ubuntu is widely used in connected devices and industrial PCs. Our Ubuntu Core edition offers advanced security and resilience for high-end appliances and equipment, with customers in consumer and industrial electronics, automotive, and robotics. We are expanding our offerings with real-time Linux capabilities and certifications, aiming for Linux solutions optimized for reliability, security, developer productivity, and footprint.
This role requires a blend of skills: strong Linux knowledge, coding and scripting proficiency, and embedded development experience.
