Job summary

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network, delivering fast internet beyond current networks. This role designs, develops and tests embedded security systems that secure satellite communications between satellites, ground gateways, and customer terminals.

In this position you will work with Rust, C, or C++ in RTOS/embedded Linux environments, interfacing via I2C/SPI/CAN/UART, and collaborating with hardware teams to ensure high reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• Experience programming in at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, development, and operation of embedded security capabilities for satellites.
• Own embedded software functions through design, implementation, testing, and integration in RTOS or embedded Linux.
• Write software to interact with devices using I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, etc.
• Collaborate with hardware teams for board bring-up, verification, and test.
• Follow best practices for high reliability embedded software to ensure security and reliability.
