Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Embedded DevOps Engineer Level 4 in Northridge, CA to lead end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for missile program codebases, integrating tools like Jenkins, Jira, and SonarQube. The role requires an active US Secret clearance and on-site work.

You will mentor development and operations teams, ensure secure build practices for C++, Python, and VxWorks, and coordinate across sites to harmonize configurations and compliance evidence.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 8 years embedded software/hardware development, or MS with 6 years similar experience.
• Current US Government Secret security clearance with ability to get SAP clearance.
• Experience as a technical lead collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• DevSecOps experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for missile program codebases with tools like Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, and Atlassian suite.
• Develop and maintain pipeline automation scripts and build configurations (CMake, VisualStudio) for CI, test, and delivery of embedded software.
• Architect secure artifact repositories and version-control strategies ensuring traceability and DoD compliance.
• Implement static analysis and security gates within pipelines using SonarQube across C++, Python, and VxWorks projects.
• Collaborate with embedded engineers to tailor build/test processes for real-time, safety-critical apps.
