Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Embedded DevOps Engineer Level 4 to join its Advanced Weapons team in Northridge, CA. The role focuses on designing and owning the CI/CD pipeline architecture for missile programs, delivering secure, scalable automation across multiple development streams.

The successful candidate will combine deep DevSecOps expertise with hands-on embedded software experience, guiding cross-functional teams and interfacing with program managers and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Current US Government DoD Secret security clearance with ability to get cleared for SAP.
• Full-time, on-site in Northridge, CA; no remote/telework.
• Hands-on embedded real-time and safety-critical software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for missile program codebases using Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, and the Atlassian suite.
• Develop and maintain pipeline automation scripts and build configurations (CMake, VisualStudio, custom scripts) to support CI, testing and delivery.
• Architect secure artifact repositories and version-control strategies ensuring traceability and DoD compliance.
• Implement static analysis, code quality gates, and vulnerability scanning within pipelines with SonarQube for C++, Python, and VxWorks.
