Redesign Health is hiring an Embedded Transformation Engineer to lead technical implementations inside healthcare organizations. You will work with clinicians and operators to ensure AI solutions address real workflows.

Role blends startup engineering rigor with patient‑centric outcomes, emphasizes security, and requires collaboration with non‑engineering stakeholders to deliver adopted solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with HIPAA‑compliant clinical workflows and their data models.
• Healthcare systems exposure across EHRs, payer and claims data, revenue cycle, scheduling, clinical data.
• Ability to mentor engineers into a new way of working.
• Startup/generalist or forward‑deployed engineer background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a working opinion on the best tools on the market, including agent platforms, coding agents, eval and observability tooling, and integration tooling.
• Understand the real workflow before proposing anything with clinicians and hospital staff to learn how things actually happen today.
• Advise on whether to deploy an existing product, port a known build, or create something new for a real problem.
• Translate direction into an implementation plan with scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead delivery using autonomous coding agents, harnesses, tests, and evals to ensure quality.
• Architect on the fly within the design, adjusting data models, auth, and interfaces as needed.
• Enable customers’ engineers to work effectively with agents and code review harnesses.
• Ensure end users gain confidence through training, pilots, and feedback loops.
• Operate within the customer's PHI/HIPAA security posture.
