Job summary

You will own the Compliance automation roadmap, define build-vs-buy strategies, ensure auditability and human-in-the-loop controls, and drive adoption through cross-functional collaboration with engineering and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in complex, stakeholder-heavy environments.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM-based applications and prompt engineering.
• Ability to embed with non-technical domain experts and translate workflows to engineering requirements.
• Familiarity with compliance workflows like transaction monitoring and sanctions screening.
• Experience in embedded or advisory roles in RegTech or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Embed with Compliance leadership to surface high-impact automation opportunities.
• Prototype solutions on Coinbase's AI platform and guide adoption.
• Own the Compliance automation roadmap with leadership, translating regulatory workflows into specs.
