Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to embed with Compliance leadership, surface high-leverage automation opportunities, and prototype solutions on Coinbase's AI platform.

You will drive the automation roadmap for case resolution, trade surveillance, and policy management, while ensuring auditability and human-in-the-loop controls. Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in stakeholder-heavy environments.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM-based applications with human-in-the-loop design.
• Ability to embed with non-technical domain experts and translate workflows into engineering requirements.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory systems (transaction monitoring, sanctions screening).

Responsabilités

• Embed with Compliance leadership to surface automation opportunities with greatest business leverage.
• Prototype quickly using Coinbase's AI platform as the default foundation.
• Own the Compliance automation roadmap in partnership with leadership.
• Define the build-vs-buy strategy for Compliance tooling.
• Ensure automated outputs are traceable, auditable, and regulator-defensible.
• Drive adoption through brown-bags and prototype walkthroughs.
