Softline Solutions, a Southern California digital marketing agency, is seeking a QA Specialist to safeguard lifecycle and transactional emails across the brand portfolio. You will partner with Email Developers, Lifecycle Strategy, Product, and Engineering to verify rendering, personalization, data reliability, and compliance before deployment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in email QA, marketing operations, or lifecycle marketing.
• Strong understanding of email rendering across inbox providers and devices.
• Experience testing dynamic content, segmentation rules, and trigger-based automation.
• Familiarity with ESP platforms and email testing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
• Ability to identify technical inconsistencies and communicate with developers.
• Comfort collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Creative, & Lifecycle teams.
• Organized approach to documentation and issue tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive team member with ownership of quality and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA testing for promotional campaigns, automated flows, and transactional emails before deployment.
• Validate dynamic content, personalization rules, segmentation accuracy, and trigger behavior.
• Test rendering across devices, inbox providers, and email clients.
• Confirm data mappings and variable population are functioning correctly.
• Review tracking parameters, UTMs, and measurement instrumentation for accuracy.
• Partner with Email Developers to identify and resolve logic errors and rendering inconsistencies.
• Validate compliance with brand standards, accessibility requirements, and deliverability best practices.
• Document QA findings and maintain standardized testing checklists and workflows.
• Support post-launch audits to ensure live campaigns and flows function as expected.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on troubleshooting trigger or data discrepancies.
• Continuously refine QA processes to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
