Job summary

ZoomInfo is seeking an Email Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and enhance our enterprise email delivery, security, and scalability. You will manage domains, authentication, and mail routing within Gmail/Workspace, collaborating with Security, IT, and DevOps to support new mail streams and migrations.

You will own SPF/DKIM/DMARC configurations, monitor delivery signals, and document repeatable processes to future-proof our setup. A strong background in email deliverability and DNS is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on email experience with ownership of email infrastructure.
• 2+ years administering Google Workspace at an administrative level.
• Proven experience with managed DNS, email authentication, SMTP, mail flow, reputation management, bounce handling, and deliverability troubleshooting.
• Ability to explain technical risk clearly, prioritize requests, and document processes.

Responsibilities

• Support email operations in Gmail/Google Workspace environment, including mail-routing and integration workflows.
• Configure and maintain enterprise email infrastructure, including domains, routing, relays, and vendor integrations.
• Own sender authority and authentication controls (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and document standards for future-proofing.
• Collaborate with deliverability specialists to monitor delivery and investigate failures; lead root cause analysis.
• Partner with Security, IT, and DevOps to support new mail stream setups and migrations.
• Improve monitoring, analysis, and reporting of throughput and bounces; build repeatable workflows via automation.
• Prioritize incoming email-infrastructure requests balancing business needs with risk and reliability.
• Coordinate changes across teams using Jira and Slack.
