Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Email Marketing Coordinator for our client in Welkom. You will execute email campaigns, manage subscriber lists, and help drive engagement and conversions through compelling content and smart segmentation.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Mailchimp, SendGrid or HubSpot, strong copywriting skills, and a good grasp of deliverability and analytics. You will collaborate with marketing and design teams to produce on-brand email templates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Email Marketing role or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Mailchimp, SendGrid or HubSpot.
• Strong segmentation, A/B testing, and deliverability knowledge.
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
• HTML/CSS for email templates is a plus.
• Experience with marketing analytics tools for reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, build, test, and send out regular email marketing campaigns to segmented lists.
• Manage and maintain email subscriber databases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Develop engaging email copy, subject lines, and calls-to-action that align with brand messaging and marketing objectives.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions), and provide reports with recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure visually appealing and brand-consistent email templates.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in email marketing and digital communication.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an Email Marketing role or similar, with hands-on experience using email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, SendGrid, HubSpot).
