Job summary

Xtend is seeking a Content Specialist to craft email campaigns, automated journeys, and member communications for credit union clients. You will combine writing, design, and technology to deliver high-quality campaigns, tailoring content to different brand voices and audiences.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration with marketing strategists and analysts, and ensuring campaigns are accurate before sending. A 2–4 year background in email marketing or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in email marketing, content creation, copywriting, marketing automation, or related field.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with adaptability for different audiences/brands.
• Experience with email marketing or marketing automation platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with HTML email, audience segmentation, personalization, and campaign testing a plus.
• Creative eye for design, layout, and visual presentation.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and create engaging content for email campaigns, automated journeys, and member communications.
• Build and execute campaigns based on approved strategies and client goals.
• Design and format email layouts, including HTML content, for cross-device compatibility.
• Use segmentation and personalization to deliver relevant messages.
• Test and proofread campaigns before launch for accuracy.
• Collaborate with strategists, account teams, and analysts to deliver campaigns on schedule.
• Review campaign results and identify opportunities to improve future communications.
• Maintain campaign templates, documentation, and quality standards.
