Job description

Description

Great marketing isn't just about having the right message. It's about making sure that message reaches the right people, looks great, and delivers results. Xtend is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content Specialist to bring marketing campaigns to life for our credit union clients. In this role, you'll combine writing, design, and technology to create engaging emails, automated campaigns, and member communications that connect with audiences. If you enjoy turning ideas into finished campaigns, working with different brand voices, and making sure every detail is right before hitting send, this could be a great opportunity for you.

What You'll Do

  • Write, edit, and create engaging content for email campaigns, automated marketing journeys, and member communications.

  • Build and execute marketing campaigns based on approved strategies and client goals.

  • Design and format email layouts, including HTML email content, to ensure communications look great across devices.

  • Use audience segmentation and personalization to deliver relevant messages to the right members.

  • Test and proofread campaigns to ensure links, formatting, content, and audience selections are accurate before launch.

  • Collaborate with marketing strategists, account teams, and analysts to deliver high-quality campaigns on schedule.

  • Review campaign results and identify opportunities to improve future communications.

  • Maintain campaign templates, documentation, and quality standards while supporting teammates through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of experience in email marketing, content creation, copywriting, marketing automation, or a related field preferred.

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience will also be considered.

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and brands.

  • Experience working with email marketing or marketing automation platforms preferred.

  • Familiarity with HTML email, audience segmentation, personalization, and campaign testing is a plus.

  • A creative eye for design, layout, and visual presentation.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with teammates and clients.

  • Experience in financial services or credit union marketing is a plus, but not required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Why Join Xtend?
