Job summary

Luminary Hotel & Co seeks a friendly Restaurant Host at Ella Mae's, part of Mainsail Lodging & Development in Fort Myers. You will greet guests, seat them efficiently, and coordinate with servers to optimize dining flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required; hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities are essential.
• Proficiency with tablets/iPads and POS systems is expected.
• Ability to assist with menu revisions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly in dining areas.
• Use rotation to ensure fair seating and smooth flow of guests.
• Communicate seating status with servers and managers as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of greeter station and front-of-house areas.
• Assist teammates and manage private dining area flow when required.
• Operates MICROS POS and Yelp reservations systems accurately.
• Assist servers and communicate seating needs to them.
