Job summary

Southridge High School in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Paraeducator 1 for a temporary 7-hour shift. The role supports English Language Learners (ELL) in the classroom and Spanish bilingual candidates are preferred.

The Paraeducator assists the teacher with instruction, prepares materials, and supervises students to keep a safe, productive environment. The position is full-time temporary, with a daily schedule from 8:30am to 4:00pm, as part of a 10-month calendar and 182 calendar work days.

Qualifications

• Supports English Language Learners in classroom settings.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred for communication with families and students.
• Works with teachers to prepare materials and supervise students.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in instructional delivery and material prep.
