Job summary

Bellevue Public Schools is seeking an English Language Learner (ELL) Paraprofessional for a 7.5-hour day, Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The role requires flexibility to work at multiple schools and grade levels, under a teacher’s direction.

A valid driver’s license is required to travel between schools during the day. Veterans preference applies. The paraprofessional will help ELL students acquire English and support accommodations directed by the classroom teacher,

Qualifications

• Must be able to work at multiple schools and grade levels.
• Must be capable of routinely assisting English Language Learners.
• Must be available to supervise students 1:1 and in small groups as directed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and work with ELL students one-on-one and in small groups.
• Assist classroom teachers with accommodations for ELL students.
• Support instructional activities under supervision of a teacher.
