SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Red Team Penetration Tester to conduct penetration testing and offensive cybersecurity operations for U.S. Government and DoD systems.

Active Secret Clearance is required; Top Secret with SCI eligibility preferred. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance. The role requires strong Linux/Windows expertise, experience with PENTEST tools (Kali, Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike), and a track record in Red Team operations, Python/C/C++, and cloud

Qualifications

• Five years of software engineering experience in DoD or IT systems.
• Limb strong knowledge of Linux and Windows in enterprise envs.
• Experience with PENTEST tools: Kali, Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike.
• Experience in Red Team operations, exploits, C2, and malware development.
• Proficient in Python, C, C++, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with AWS, REST/SOAP and security testing in cloud.
• Security certifications such as OSCP or SANS GPEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Debug and reverse engineer software.
• Analyze Windows events and Linux logs.
• Develop and debug Web 2.0, Java, Perl, C++, and GUI tools.
• Recommend mitigations to known vulnerabilities.
• Operate systems: HP-UX, UNIX, Solaris, Linux, Windows.
• Apply encryption tech and STIGs per NSA/DISA guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews and static analysis.
